- Acted as a subject-matter expert in K-12 traffic safety education. Created lesson plans and trained gym teachers across Oregon to deliver bicycle and pedestrian safety lessons as part of the school year’s physical education curriculum. Created visual media for educators and social media to spread information about bicycle and pedestrian safety, commute-options information, and other low carbon ways of traveling.
- Administered the Oregon Safe Routes to School Microgrants program, ensuring equitable distribution of financial and material across Oregon communities through a non-competitive grant funding structure.
- Supported construction services to 26 Safe Routes to School programs, led walk audits, facilitated community outreach, engaged with school stakeholders, and worked alongside community-based team partners for Oregon’s Safe Routes to School program.
